Can you donate ?

ISSPP website will accept donations as soon as the society has received written confirmation of the State tax office in Tübingen, Germany, and will be empowered to write a tax-deductible receipt.

What are the donations for?

ISSPP is a non-profit organization aiming at the continuous improvement of therapy for diseases of the pleura, the peritoneum and other serosa diseases through the promotion of research, innovation, further training and education, patient care and interprofessional dialogue.

To our knowledge, not a single drug is currently approved by the EMA or FDA for intraperitoneal delivery, a single one for intrapleural delivery. This contrasts sharply with other locoregional delivery platforms such as through the skin, inhalation, etc. As a result, the problem of peritoneal and pleural diseases is largely ignored, and patients are devoid of adequate, dedicated therapies.

With your donation, you can help ISSPP to support ground breaking initiatives in research, therapy and training in the field of pleural and peritoneal diseases. Without donations it is just not possible for ISSPP to achieve its ambitious goals.
