On March 27th, 2021, more than 200 surgeons, medical oncologists, pathologists, immunologists and researchers from the US, Europe and elsewhere participated to ISSPP’s live webinar on the Management of Peritoneal Metastasis Colorectal Cancer. The webinar was chaired by Byrne Lee, MD FACS, Director, Regional Cancer Therapies and Clinical Professor of Surgery, Stanford University School of Medicine. The program covered the latest advances in the field, in particular:
- Systemic Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy
- Cytoreductive Surgery and Heated Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC)
- Pressurized Intraperitoneal Aerosolized Chemotherapy (PIPAC)
- Molecular Profiling of peritoneal metastasis
